Tampa Bay Women in Tech for International Women's Day

This will be a virtual panel discussion hosted by Tech Elevator and Masterminds Tampa Bay for International Women’s Day with professional women in the technology industry. It is designed for professional women to learn about what options are available for them and how to recognize their potential to advance and grow in their careers. This is a FREE event that is open to everyone!

*ABOUT THE PANEL*
Valerie Savage
is a Cleveland native who serves as Director of People & Culture at Tech Elevator. She has always been fascinated by people and graduated with dual majors in Social & Cultural History and History & Anthropology from Carnegie Mellon University. As a lifelong learner, Valerie is also expected to graduate this fall with her Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership from the Valar Institute. Despite her not-so-secret dream of hosting her own talk show one day, she has enjoyed spending the last fifteen years of her career in People Operations. Valerie loves applying her strengths in strategic thinking and leveraging technology to make sure work is meaningful, productive, and fun!

Meghan O’Keefe brings a business development and marketing background to Tampa Bay Tech with having worked in a variety of industries from non-profit to manufacturing and everything in between. Meghan has been living in Tampa Bay for over eleven years and has been passionate about being a community connector and bridging the region together. Prior to joining Tampa Bay Tech, Meghan was with the St. Petersburg Economic Development Corporation leading the charge in bringing businesses and companies to the city of St. Pete to help advance the local economy and community. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications from John Carroll University where she also played soccer all four years. When she isn’t working or playing pickleball, Meghan enjoys spending time with organizations like Where Love Grows, Truth North Society and Masterminds Tampa Bay, helping to make a difference and creating a better community for everyone.

Daniella Diaz is the Director of Customer Experience at Lumina Analytics, a specialty artificial intelligence company. She is also the Co-Founder of High Tech Connect, Tampa’s largest tech agnostic community built to establish connectivity between tech-powered organizations and individual contributors. She was named to Tampa Bay Inno’s ’25 Under 25′ in 2020 and serves as a member of the Embarc Collective Young Professionals Board. Daniella is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she was a member of the USF Sundolls dance team.

Allison Rehmann
is a career development director at Tech Elevator where she helps students navigate their way through the Pathway Program on their journey to become software engineers. Allison started her career at Enterprise Holdings in Philadelphia and spent 16 years in Talent Acquisition. There she managed hiring and retention and talent management. Before joining Tech Elevator she was the Director of Employer Relationships for the Fox School of Business at Temple University. She loves using her recruiting background to engage employers and help students find meaningful work opportunities. She is a proud Penn State grad. She lives in Philly with her family, loves to run and recently taught herself how to knit.
